Info

Rachel and Arthur Cadman design and make beautiful contemporary furniture. They believe that beauty and function can form a perfect partnership and there is no reason why one should be sacrificed for the other. As master cabinet-makers, their furniture is of the highest standard, therefore customers can enjoy both quality of craftsmanship and aesthetics. Their folio ranges from subtle designs through to artistically flamboyant statements and they enjoy the exciting possibilities attainable.

They enjoy working in a creative atmosphere and find the processes very engaging which result in a perpetual energy and passion for their lovingly hand-crafted designs. Due to the nature of the work, each piece usually requires a great deal of time and effort and therefore they are only able to produce a limited number each year. The process is mainly to commission with a few speculative items being made for exhibitions. They have recently launched a range of smaller items that can be
purchased through the online shop.

In 2012, they won a prestigious gold medal – awarded by the Craft & Design Magazine which is reflective of their accomplished career.  Their exciting collaboration was born in the year 2000 and are very pleased to have built an excellent reputation for their collectible furniture. Their work has been published in numerous books and magazines, and have partnered with distinguished customers both in Great Britain and abroad.

Their creative studio / showroom, and cabinet-making workshops are both located in the inspirational Brecon  Beacons National Park. Examples of their work can be viewed by appointment but also pieces are usally on display at Craft in the Bay - Cardiff, and Oriel Cric - Crickhowell.
